BMW is the world's first automobile manufacturer to offer its customers the option of conveniently transferring exclusive BMW routes and their own routes to their vehicles.
Transferring BMW routes: All BMW routes shown on this website under "Discover routes" are exclusively available to BMW ConnectedDrive contract customers for import to vehicles via BMW Online. Select a BMW route of your choice in your vehicle and discover some of the most beautiful areas of Europe, conveniently guided to your destination by your BMW navigation system.
Transferring your own routes: you can save routes you have planned yourself onto a USB stick and import these to your BMW navigation system. BMW ConnectedDrive contract customers also have the option of storing their own routes on the BMW Online portal and importing them to the vehicle navigation system via the mobile phone connection in their BMW. If you have added an image or other information to your route, this will also be shown in the vehicle. Only the last saved route in each case will be imported from the USB stick and any routes in the journey list with the same name will be overwritten.
Importing of routes is a BMW ConnectedDrive innovation and is available in many of the latest BMW models (from production date 09/08 onwards).
