    At an altitude of 1.000 meters above sea level, the view over the valleys to the "Bishop's Hat" is simply breath-taking. Monks once used the stables to shelter their horses during wintertime. Today the owner and Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz uses it to breed his famed "Tyrolese Halflingers". The estate, which dates back to the 16th century, has lovingly been restored and houses a restaurant and four modern guest rooms. The small lake is ideal for a refreshing swim on a hot summer’s day.

    A shimmering metre-thick mass of ice covers the steep rock walls on the interior of the mountain. This transforms gigantic chambers into magical sculptures housed in grottos that exude the feeling of endlessness. This breathtaking spectacle of nature runs for more than 40 kilometres. Visitors can visit the world's largest ice grotto labyrinth by taking 1.400 sturdy steps and paths, to experience this enchanting and unique rock and ice spectacle.
